More than just bragging rights will be on the line when England and Wales meet in their Women's Rugby League World Cup 2026 opener.
The home nations have been drawn alongside each other in Pool A, which also includes hosts Australia and Samoa.
England have sights set on unseating the Jillaroos, who are the defending champions, on their home turf and getting their hands on the world crown.
The World Cup is already a milestone moment for Wales, who have reached the tournament for the first time in the women's game.
But they will relish their role as underdogs and hope to make their mark in Australia over the next month.
