I wondered what the entry-level, initial price of each Apple TV box at introduction was, from the March 2007 original to the Apple TV 4K (4th generation) announced October 13, 2026, adjusted for inflation. So I charted it.
Solid lines are what Apple charged; dashed lines follow each launch price forward through inflation to today.

Inflation adjustment uses the BLS Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U, U.S. city average, all items, 1982–84 = 100), rebased to September 2026 (336.940, the latest release). Prices are Apple's U.S. list prices at launch and at announced changes; the 4th-generation Apple TV 4K ships November 13, 2026. Each dashed line takes a model's launch price and multiplies it by the CPI ratio at every month since, ending at the September 2026 equivalent on the right edge.
