Aston Villa's work to sign 21-year-old midfielder Johan Manzambi has proven to be worth all the effort!
During Saturday's clash with Newcastle, the No. 44 was unmarked in the box and subsequently sucker-punched his opponents with a darting header to make it one-nil.
It means that Manzambi notched his fourth goal contribution in his last three Premier League matches (two goals, two assists).
The screw turns a little more against Newcastle, too, since the venue where he scored could have been his home.
The Magpies were once the frontrunners to earn the signature of the impressive Swiss international following a strong World Cup. Instead, Villa swooped in to win the race dramatically.
What could have been for manager Matthias Jaissle, but Unai Emery will love what he's seen from the new signing so far!
