A 60 kW solar power plant has been successfully installed and commissioned at Maliney Village in Dibang Valley district.
Anini MLA Mopi Mihu said the remaining village electrification and internal wiring works will be completed by November 2026.
The project is a significant step towards ensuring sustainable energy and improving rural connectivity in the remote border village.
Mihu expressed sincere gratitude to Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein for their continued support for the development of remote and border villages.
