Celebrating craftsmanship

Sankalpa, an exhibition of art and craftsmanship brings Ashta Lakshmis and the holy trinity of Durga, Saraswati, and Maha Lakshmi, reimagined through the hands of master artisans. Through bronze, woven textiles, temple jewellery, and floral craft, the experience celebrates the stories and artistry that keep the traditions alive. The experience brings together master artisans, traditional florists, handloom weavers, jewellers and craftspeople, including the renowned Okha Meenakshi Devi and team, whose Ikebana adds another expression of the relationship between nature, form and beauty.

Every sculpture, flower, textile, jewel and handcrafted detail becomes part of an offering to the artisans who carry inherited knowledge, and to traditions that continue to live because they continue to be practised.

Till October 3 from 10.30am to 7.30pm at Lakshmi Mills Urban Center, near Lulu Hypermarket
