A report on Wednesday indicated that there's a realistic chance of quarterback Lamar Jackson playing against the Browns on Sunday, but there was no change to his status when the Ravens took the practice field later in the day.
Jackson missed practice all of last week due to an ankle injury and he remained off the field during the team's first practice of Week 6. Head coach Jesse Minter didn't make any guesses about when he will back, but said that the quarterback is doing what's needed to return to action.
"I think it’s definitely day-to-day," Minter said. "I think a lot of times those things, right when they happen, you're not sure. You gather information, you look at stuff. To Lamar's credit, he's working his butt off. He's doing everything he can to be out here. When he's able to be, he will."
Tyler Huntley started in place of Jackson last Sunday and helped the Ravens to an overtime win over the Falcons. Rookie Joe Fagnano is the team's third quarterback.
