5 Pickleball Accessories To Help Shield You From The Malaysian Sun

Playing pickleball outdoors in Malaysia means spending hours under the sun, where UV exposure can be high even when it's cloudy. The adidas CLIMACOOL UV Arm Sleeve with Thumb Hole offers an extra layer of coverage for your arms, making it a practical addition to your outdoor court essentials beyond sunscreen.

Featuring CLIMACOOL technology for cooling comfort, this arm sleeve is designed to help you stay more comfortable while moving around the court.

With Malaysia's strong tropical sunshine, a cap is a useful addition to your pickleball kit for outdoor games. The H&M Sports Cap provides coverage for your head and helps shade your face from direct sunlight, making it a practical choice for players who spend extended periods on the court.

It features embroidered eyelets and a sweatband, along with an elasticated, reflective drawcord at the back and a plastic cord stopper for an adjustable fit. It's a straightforward option for keeping your hair in place and managing sweat while playing, though you'll still want sunglasses and other sun-protective gear for more complete coverage.

Outdoor pickleball sessions in Malaysia can get hot quickly, especially under the midday sun. The adidas Terrex Xperior CLIMACOOL+ T-shirt is worth considering if you want a sports top designed with cooling comfort in mind, helping you stay more comfortable during active games in warm weather.

It features CLIMACOOL+ technology, making it an option for players who prioritise cooling performance in their sportswear. However, cooling technology alone does not confirm UV protection, so check the garment's UPF rating if you're looking for clothing that specifically helps protect your skin from the sun during outdoor play.

Malaysia's strong sunshine can make outdoor pickleball sessions challenging, so a visor is a handy addition to your court essentials. The Diadora Fay Visor features a curved peak to help shade your face from direct sunlight, while its open-top design makes it an alternative to a full cap if you prefer less coverage around your head.

Made from polyester, this unisex black visor features a contrasting logo print and an adjustable Velcro strap for a more personalised fit. Pair it with UV-protective sunglasses and other sun-protective gear for outdoor games, as a visor alone does not provide full coverage from UV exposure.

The Altalist Overglasses 2 Polarised Sunglasses are designed to fit over most prescription glasses, offering a practical way to manage glare without having to switch to contact lenses. Their polarised lenses help reduce reflected light and improve contrast, which can be useful when tracking the ball under Malaysia's bright sunshine.

The sunglasses feature lenses with 100% UV protection, lightweight frames and anti-slip rubber detailing for a more secure fit during movement. They also come with detachable nose pads, an eyewear case, a cushion bag and a cleaning cloth.
