Delhi Police registered a first information report against Cockroach Janta Party leaders Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, Ajinkya Shinde, and other members for allegedly entering Jantar Mantar without authorization after scaling the gates. Amit Shah Hits Out at Congress Over EC Criticism, 2029 Polls Claim Sparks Fierce Political War
A fierce political war of words has escalated between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress party. Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched an attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi, accusing the opposition of questioning the Election Commission of India instead of introspecting on repeated electoral defeats. Amit Shah stated that the Congress had been losing elections across states well before recent exercises and asserted that the BJP and NDA will secure a thumping majority in the 2029 elections. In response, the Congress party dared Amit Shah to hold an open press conference, questioned the BJP's confidence regarding 2029, and claimed public anger is mounting across the country.
