“In violation of our nation’s laws, she overstayed her admittance,” the ICE spokesperson said.

The Canadian activist who allegedly slapped a New Jersey teen last summer over the girl’s MAGA ensemble has officially been given the boot.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to Shore News Network that it removed Kaitlyn Tracey from the United States on Aug. 15. It isn’t clear why the information has been withheld until now.
Tracey — who appears to be from the Toronto area — was arrested on the Fourth of July weekend for her alleged Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk attack on the teen. When investigators examined the incident, they learned Tracey had overstayed her authorized admission to the U.S.

The incident triggered a brouhaha in an already soured U.S.-Canada relationship. ICE listed her charges as simple assault, neglect of a child, compounding crime and harassing communication.
The teen was wearing America 250 clothing — ICE characterized the clothing as pro-Trump memorabilia — when Tracey allegedly struck.
Tracey overstayed her visa
ICE said: “According to local reports, she allegedly struck a teenage girl wearing pro-Trump memorabilia on a boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach during 4th of July weekend.”

Tracey entered the U.S. on April 14, 2024, with permission to remain until Sept. 6, 2024, according to ICE. “In violation of our nation’s laws, she overstayed her admittance,” the ICE spokesperson said.
Tracey was arrested on July 13, 2026. The agency said she received due process before being removed to Canada the following month. The criminal allegations against Tracey are separate from her deportation.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
Tracey, 33, had been living in Allenhurst, New Jersey, with her American hubby, Matthew Geroni. Cops said it was Tracey herself who recorded her confrontation with a group of teenage girls, two of whom were wearing sweatpants that carried the messages “Trump” and “ICE.”
Cops say Tracey began screaming at the kids
“The female suspect began yelling at the female juvenile over patriotic coloured sweatpants with political wording. The female suspect was then seen on video striking the juvenile female, once to the body and once to the face, with an open hand. The female suspect then left the scene without being identified,” the Point Pleasant Police said in a news release from July.
The suspect was later identified as Tracey. The Jersey cops thanked the Toronto Police Service for helping with the investigation.

Following Tracey’s arrest, her hubby Geroni took to social media pleading for help.
He said in a video: “I need an immigration lawyer, I need help. I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any money. I’m so f***ing broke. But I got to figure something out. I got to save her.”
And then he started sobbing.
Prayed for Donald Trump’s assassination
“My wife is a Canadian citizen and I’m an American citizen,” Geroni said. “We’ve been married for a little over three years, and I’m just doing anything I can to get her story heard and bring any help and attention to her situation so that I can get her released, even if that means back to Canada.”
An ill-starred GoFundMe page was taken down after it was mass-reported by MAGA supporters.
Tracey’s 42-year-old TikToker husband previously posted disturbing videos wishing for President Donald Trump’s assassination and praying for the president’s family to get cancer.
Geroni has called himself the “Jester of the Jersey Shore” and the “Clown of Asbury Park” on social media.
