Jon Gruden made yet another appearance to show support to Donald Trump and the Republican Party at a rally the President held in Ohio.
Just a few days ago, Gruden was on stage at a Donald Trump rally to endorse Senator Jon Husted ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
This time, Gruden got the chance to make another appearance and used his allotted time to lavish praise on the President of the United States.
Jon Gruden admits no one has ‘more passion and enthusiasm’ for America than Donald Trump
Former NFL coach Jon Gruden was tasked with introducing Donald Trump at his rally in Ohio last night, and he used the opportunity to share some kind words for the President.
Gruden said that he hadn’t met anyone, inside and outside of the political sphere, who was as much of a fighter and hard worker as the current President of the United States.
Gruden said: “I’ve met a lot of people in my days. I’ve never met a man that has given more effort, relentless effort, a guy that has more enthusiasm and passion for the United States than this guy!
“A guy that is committed to executing, no matter how intense the pressure is. And most importantly, a guy that will compete, a guy that will roll his fist up and fight for us.”
During his NFL career, Gruden refrained from speaking or even discussing politics, feeling that it would distract from his role as a coach.
But since he left the Las Vegas Raiders following a dispute with the organisation in 2021, he has been a lot more vocal with his political support.
While his appearance at the previous rally to endorse his friend and former teammate, Jon Husted, wasn’t a direct endorsement of Trump, Gruden being tasked with introducing him can’t be seen as anything less than a total endorsement of the 45th and 47th President of the United States.
