Grievances are being expressed by many workers of state-owned enterprises. However, many workers are not registered with trade unions. So, it is significant for the trade union movement to get focal points in all establishments so that the rights of workers will be known to them.
For example, there are procedures to be followed before union members go on strike. There are conditions of the Labour Act requiring fulfilment before workers could go on strike. These conditions should be known to workers. This is why trade unions are established to guide the workers.
