The Innobiz Association, formally the Korea Association of Technology Innovation-Driven SMEs, is running practical training sessions to support the growth of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises and help them obtain certification as technology-innovative SMEs.
The association said on the 13th that it is accepting applications from companies for its October Innobiz certification training, to be held in four regions nationwide: Sejong, Jeonbuk State, Ulsan and Seoul.
Innobiz, a combination of "innovation" and "business," refers to technology-innovative SMEs with competitive technology and growth potential. The association serves as the managing body for the Innobiz certification program designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and provides training on a regular basis for companies seeking certification.
The sessions target chief executives, chief technology officers and heads of quality and management planning at companies seeking Innobiz certification. The program covers an overview of the Innobiz system and preferential support in areas such as financing and research and development, how to apply and how applicants are selected, requirements under each major evaluation category, and guidance on preparing for individual technology assessments, along with a question-and-answer session.
The training will be held in Sejong on the 22nd, Jeonbuk State on the 26th, Ulsan on the 29th and Seoul on the 30th. All sessions run for four hours, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Participation is free, and registration may close early depending on the number of spots available in each region. Applications can be submitted through an online link posted in the notices section of the association's official website.
