Eagles WR Emerging as Prime Trade Candidate Amid Brutal Losing Streak

With their 25-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, the Philadelphia Eagles have now lost each of their last four games.

With this, the Eagles are now sporting a 2-4 record on the season. To make matters worse, Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts is likely to miss the remainder of the season due to blood clots in his lungs and leg. With this, the Eagles appear set to be sellers this year at the trade deadline.

Now, a notable Eagles wide receiver is starting to create chatter in the rumor mill as a trade candidate.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Eagles wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is a player that NFL teams think could be traded ahead of the deadline.

With the Eagles struggling, it is not necessarily surprising to see a veteran like Brown being discussed as a trade candidate. He could be a good pickup for another team that is looking to improve at the wide receiver position.

Brown has not received much playing time with the Eagles this season, but he is coming off a good 2025 season with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 16 games this past season with the Chiefs, he posted five touchdowns, 49 receptions, and 587 receiving yards. He has also recorded over 500 receiving yards in six out of his previous seven NFL seasons. With this, he has had a solid career and could generate some interest because of it.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles end up trading Brown by the deadline.
