The Good+Foundation is gearing up for another “very good” night of stand-up to mark the organization’s 25th anniversary milestone.
The foundation, launched by Jessica Seinfeld, will present its marquee fundraiser, A Very Good+ Night of Comedy, at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Nov. 17. Headlining the event will be Jerry Seinfeld alongside Leanne Morgan, Louis C.K., Marcello Hernandez and George Wallace. The special event is expected to host supporters, partners and community leaders for “an unforgettable night of laughter and purpose” that will raise raising funds to support Good+’s work with families.
“When I started Good+ 25 years ago, I could never have imagined all that this community would accomplish together. Comedy has been such a special part of Good+’s benefit events over the years, bringing people together through laughter while raising critical funds for families. It feels especially fitting to celebrate this milestone with Jerry and this incredible group of comedians. I’m so grateful to everyone who has been part of Good+ over the past 25 years and helped make this work possible,” said Jessica Seinfeld, who serves as founder and board chair of the organization.
The foundation operates in New York and Los Angeles with a focus on helping to break multi-generational poverty through pairing goods and services for under-resourced families. Since it launched 25 years ago, Good+ has served four million families and distributed more than $140 million in goods to families through its network of community-based partners.
A Very Good+ Night of Comedy tickets be available for pre-sale on Oct. 13, with a public sale opening up on Friday on Ticketmaster.
