Getting a Tushy was a huge upgrade to my tiny bathroom. It was one of those purchases that made me question how I ever lived without it. The same now goes for my over-the-toilet cabinet. It’s completely solved my storage problem. With only one small cabinet and a shallow drawer, my sink top was constantly in disarray. For under $100, this fixed that.
When I say I looked at dozens of over-the-toilet cabinets, I'm not exaggerating (and I may be underestimating). I looked at a lot. It’s an unglamorous product category with a plethora of ugly, poorly made options. I wish I could skip them entirely, but my bathroom walls are tile, and I rent, so drilling into them for shelving or other storage options isn’t an option.
Admittedly, the Yaheetech cabinet got me on its look. I liked the cobalt blue color and tempered glass doors, but expected little in terms of construction quality. To my pleasant surprise, this cabinet nailed both.

The cabinet is made from medium-density fiberboard, an engineered wood that’s more durable than particle board. It arrived with clearly labeled, separated hardware and even extra pieces. The instructions were thorough and clearly illustrated, so assembly was easy, though not quick. It’s not overbuilt, per se, but it has more pieces than I expected. I’d say this is a positive, though, because it adds to the overall build quality with secured hardware and fastened pieces. I worried it wouldn’t fit the toilet gap between my sink and shower, but I still had a couple of inches to spare on either side.
I wish I'd found this sooner; it’s tripled my storage space and keeps my toiletries organized, whereas before mornings were a mess of toppled contact solution bottles and me fighting to open my drawer halfway. I had it for only a week before my fiancée insisted she needed one too and bought the white one.
Mornings run smoother now that everything has a place in the bathroom. We no longer have to store extra toilet paper under the kitchen sink; we can keep it where we need it. I still prefer a bathroom shelf, but this cabinet is an elegant next-best thing. At just $75, I feel I’ve recouped my investment.
