Uganda Baati Limited has announced the departure of its Chief Executive Officer, George Arodi, who concluded his tenure on October 21, 2026.
In a statement, the company informed its customers, partners and stakeholders of the leadership change, adding that interim arrangements had been put in place to ensure continuity of operations as it prepares to appoint a substantive chief executive.
During the transition, Amon Aruho, the company’s Head of Human Resources and Administration, will oversee operations in consultation with Regional Chief Executive Officer Dipti Mohanty.
The company did not disclose the reasons behind Arodi’s departure or indicate when a substantive successor would be appointed.
“We thank Mr. Arodi for his leadership and contribution to Uganda Baati and the Safal Group,” the company said in its statement.
Uganda Baati added that the leadership transition would not affect its commitment to serving customers and other stakeholders.
“Uganda Baati remains committed to business continuity and delivering value to its customers and stakeholders,” the statement read.
The company said further updates would be communicated in due course.
Arodi’s departure marks a leadership transition at one of Uganda’s established roofing and building solutions companies, which operates as part of the Safal Group.
The interim leadership arrangement is expected to provide operational oversight while the company works towards appointing a substantive chief executive.
