WhatsApp has announced a new Guest Calling feature that lets users invite anyone to join a call, including people who do not have a WhatsApp account. Guest calls also come without time limits and remain end-to-end encrypted.
When a host invites someone to a call, the guest is placed in a waiting room and can join only after the host lets them in. Hosts can also remove guests at any time and guests cannot see other participants’ phone numbers, send them messages, or call them directly.

However, guests can share their screens, send reactions, and raise their hands during calls.
The feature is available in WhatsApp’s Calls section, where users can generate an invitation link and share it with anyone they want to join the call.
WhatsApp will also roll out integrations with Google and Outlook Calendar later this year, allowing users to create WhatsApp call links directly from their calendars.
