President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condoled with the Eta family of Cross River State over the death of Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta, who was 76.
Madam Nkoko Eta was the sister of Ntufam Hilliard Eta, Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and former National Vice Chairman, South-South, of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late Nkoko Eta, who retired from a distinguished career in the Federal Civil Service in 2008, as a doting mother, a devoted Christian leader and a cherished family member whose love, kindness and presence touched many lives.
“Madam Nkoko lived a life of remarkable service, love and devotion. Though her passing leaves a painful void in your heart and in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, I urge you to find solace and inspiration in the beautiful memories she created, the lives she influenced and the faith she lived by.
“As you prepare for her final journey on October 24, I pray that Almighty God will grant you and your family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the President said.
