Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has officially ended his relationship with his partner Brenda, citing DNA test results as the reason behind the split.

The musician, whose real name is Stephen Otieno Adera, broke the news on Tuesday, October 20, in a statement shared on his social media pages.
"Following the DNA test results, I wish to officially announce that Brenda and I are no longer together as a couple," he wrote, adding that he had chosen to handle the situation "with dignity and respect for everyone involved."
The post, which quickly went viral, struck a nerve with fans who have followed Stevo's turbulent personal life over the years.
What Stevo Simple Boy's DNA test results revealed
The paternity test was carried out by Microafia Healthcare, with samples collected on September 25.
Results were released on October 10, 2026. According to the laboratory report, multiple genetic mismatches were identified, effectively excluding Stevo from biological paternity of the child, identified as Aiden Maleek.
The boy had been nicknamed Dragon Junior, a reference to Stevo's popular alias, Dragon of Africa.
The controversy surrounding the child's paternity first became public when Stevo's former manager, Machabe, claimed to be the biological father.
He later retracted the claim and issued an apology on 18 September 2026.
In his statement, Stevo thanked Microafia Healthcare for their professional handling of the process and asked the public to respect his privacy.
"My focus remains on my music, my career, and building a better future," he said.
