The KSE-100 index had closed at 165,151.64 in the previous session. During the day, it moved between 164,731.91 and 166,242.43.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) reported regular-market turnover of 379,905,194 shares, down from 446,842,690 shares previously.
The traded value rose to Rs. 21,281,765,093, up from Rs. 19,426,543,706 in the previous session.
Market capitalization increased to Rs.18,384,893,237,281 from Rs.18,308,671,830,529
In the Ready Market, 225 companies advanced, 230 declined, and 42 remained unchanged, out of a total of 497 companies.
