Binance will discontinue its mining pool services, including Binance Pool, on November 10, 2026. The announcement, shared by crypto commentator @WuBlockchain, marks a significant shift for miners relying on these services. Users must prepare to transition to alternative mining pools and settle any existing positions before the closure takes effect as it could disrupt mining activities for many.
The Key Development
The closure of Binance Pool and associated services will take effect on November 10, 2026, at 07:00. This announcement includes the termination of Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and Pool APIs. Users need to note that all mining pool connections will be cut off, and Stratum addresses will no longer be operational. Miners are encouraged to settle their positions and migrate their operations to other platforms before this deadline to avoid potential disruptions.
Market Pulse
Currently, the broader crypto market is exhibiting mixed momentum, with various assets showing differing levels of activity. Binance’s decision to shut down its mining services has drawn attention within the community, particularly among miners who depend on these services for their operations. With this shutdown, there may be shifts in miner behavior and resource allocation, leading to increased activity in competing mining pools as users seek alternatives.
Binance is a leading global cryptocurrency exchange platform that offers a variety of services, including trading, staking, and mining. The decision to discontinue its mining pool services highlights the exchange’s evolving business strategy as it adapts to changing market dynamics and regulatory considerations. The closure may also reflect a broader trend where mining operations are increasingly decentralized and moved to more specialized platforms.
The Road Ahead
Traders and miners should closely monitor the transition period and watch for potential shifts in mining operations across the industry. As miners migrate to alternative pools, attention will be on how this affects overall hash rates and mining rewards in the coming weeks. Furthermore, the impact of this closure on Binance’s user engagement and market positioning will be significant, and observers will look for any follow-up announcements regarding new services or partnerships.
