Broda Shaggi
Nigerian skit maker Broda Shaggi has returned to social media months after he was reportedly shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State.
In an emotional Instagram video shared late Tuesday, Shaggi said the incident occurred on March 9, describing it as “a day in my life I wish never happened”.
He also shared footage of himself being rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound.
Several media reports from Nigeria indicated that Shaggi was shot on March 9 but the incident became public on March 13, sparking concerns among fans over his whereabouts and well-being.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that a private hospital in Alakuko, where Shaggi was initially taken, reported the incident.
The comedian said he would provide further details about the shooting on Wednesday.
