Rosemary, who served as KCB's Head of Data Protection, passed away at the age of 36.
Her death was followed by a painful period for her family, including a brief dispute over her burial before she was ultimately laid to rest in Kericho county.

The family gathered on Monday, October 13, for an unveiling of the cross, a Christian memorial tradition widely observed in Kenya where a permanent grave marker bearing the deceased's name and details is officially dedicated.
Her sister Judy led the tribute, sharing a heartfelt message that captured both grief and gratitude.
"It is done. Today I wish a special 'Thank You' to all that helped me bring my sister home. It was not an easy journey and 40 days later, we met and gave thanks to the Almighty that we were able to give her DIGNITY as we did when she was alive," Judy wrote.
She also removed her mourning scarf during the ceremony to mark the close of the formal grieving period, though she made clear that the pain of losing her sister remains very much alive.
"There is still a gap that will never be filled, and it is well. There will still be hurt, tears and anger, and it is well. Broken hearts and missing love, but it is well," she added.
Images from the ceremony show a well-appointed memorial site featuring a tall black plaque mounted on a white marble-like platform, topped with a gold cross and a circular portrait of a smiling Rosemary. The inscription reads:
"Celebrating the Great Life of Rosemary Chemtai Koech. Born: 5th February 1988. Died: 31st August 2024."
The platform was surrounded by white metal railings and covered in generous floral arrangements, including red, yellow, pink and white roses and chrysanthemums adorned with large pink satin ribbons. A fountain featuring a white classical statue stood nearby, adding a serene quality to the setting.
Judy closed her tribute with a message directed at Rosemary's children, expressing hope that they would one day return to see the love their mother had inspired.
"I pray that her children one day come home and see the love their mother made happen, and that whether they are here or not, they are part of this love forever," she wrote.
Before her death, Judy had revealed that Rosemary had been quietly struggling, describing her as someone who was "bleeding inside" from the weight of heavy loan burdens and marital distress.
