Kate Middleton dressed up in an all-green look grounded by a pair of her favorite seasonal pumps to welcome the Sultan of Oman for his state visit to the U.K. on Tuesday.
The Princess of Wales returned to her green velvet Manolo Blahnik BB pumps for the occasion, a traditional silhouette bookended by a pointed toe and stiletto heel. It’s a style she’s reached for before; in November 2025, for example, she selected them to match a fitted emerald green velvet dress for the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall.
The texture and deep emerald hue of the shoe fit in with the autumnal season, creating a monochrome palette in concert with a bespoke Alexander McQueen coat and Juliette Botterill Millinery hat. The coat was a sharply tailored garment with strong shoulders, a cinched waist and notch lapels. One lapel was adorned with a historic brooch, the Queen Alexandra Three Feathers Brooch. A black lace high-neck top was layered beneath her coat, and she continued the green theme with a quilted Chanel bag.
Middleton’s footwear wardrobe also includes styles like Gianvito Rossi black leather pumps, Ralph Lauren brown leather pumps and other classic heel styles. She’s also worn suede boots from both of those brands. When it comes to color, she typically sticks with neutral and earthy tones.
