The Patriots came into a Week 6 game against the Jets with several players returning from injury. It was a positive sign for an injury-riddled team. Unfortunately, the positive vibes quickly went away.
Romeo Doubs, who signed a multi-year deal with the Patriots, went to the locker room in the first quarter after walking gingerly off the field. Per the Patriots, Doubs has a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.
Late in the first, the Patriots drove down the field. Drake Maye had plenty of time and found Doubs in the end zone. The QB threw a long pass, and Doubs dove for the touchdown.

However, Doubs was slow to get up and went to the locker room right after the play.
Doubs signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the Patriots this offseason after a few years with the Packers. He had two touchdowns this season heading into this game.
NESN will provide updates on Doubs when available.
