A 57-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a shooting in La Pointe, Dennery, that also left three men wounded.
Francis Ford of La Pointe succumbed to his injuries on Monday, two days after the shooting, which occurred at about 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 10.
According to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, officers at the Dennery Police Station received a report of the incident and were informed that three men had sustained gunshot wounds. They were transported by ambulance to medical facilities for treatment.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for a later date, and investigations into the shooting are continuing.
