Now for the big question…
Will Shah Rukh Khan be in Abu Dhabi?
Yes! The Bollywood superstar, also the festival’s curator, will be there during the festival.
If you have even the slightest interest in Bollywood magic, you definitely would have heard of Shah Rukh Khan. He’s been gaining fans ever since starting his acting career 38 years ago, so he knows exactly what he’s doing. He founded UNIFYD on one very simple belief: India’s artists belong on the world’s biggest stages.
What we know so far about UNIFYD in Abu Dhabi
On the day of the festival, you can expect the same vibes as any other large-scale production. It will unfold across multiple stages, offering an experience rooted in Indian music and culture.
You will get to see performances by Arijit Singh – one of India’s most celebrated voices and a two-time National Film Award winner. Yes, that Arijit Singh – the one who collaborated on the cross-cultural song Sapphire with Ed Sheeran. Sheeran himself said he was ‘proper spellbound by his voice’ and that Arijit is ‘one of the most talented humans’ he’s ever met. Singh even collabed with Martin Garrix, producing Angels For Each Other – another song we can have on repeat. Have a listen above.
Global Punjabi music phenomenon Karan Aujla will also perform at the festival. His music has reached audiences across continents, with some of his hits including Tauba Tauba, For A Reason, and many more.
Another big name on the performer’s list is Sonu Nigam – another legendary singer. He performed just this in Abu Dhabi in August, but he will return to show off his vocals at the festival. Some of his biggest hits include Kal Ho Naa Ho, Bole Chudiyan, Shukran Allah, and more.
And we can expect around 15 or so more artists coming together to perform across the multiple stages.

Speaking about UNIFYD, Shah Rukh Khan stated, “I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power. UNIFYD, produced by D’YAVOL Live along with District, will unite India’s most incredible artists on a shared stage for the first time. The festival promises to be a true spectacle in terms of its scale, energy, and grandeur.”
Bunty Singh, co-founder of D’YAVOL Live stated, “Indian music is already global. UNIFYD gives that cultural force a festival platform that matches its scale, ambition and influence. Bringing together artists of this stature on the same day, in a lineup that has never existed before, is what makes the first edition so special. The production, setting and overall experience have been built to match the scale of that moment.”
Plans for UNIFYD go beyond Abu Dhabi, with an ambitious goal to expand into new cities around the world.
More information on UNIFYD will be released soon, and we will keep you up to speed on major updates.
