(ANSA) - ROME, 16 OTT - Civilian air-traffic management agency ENAV said Friday that the problem with the data-transmission network supporting air-traffic control services across Italy, causing major disruption to services, has been resolved.
As a result of the problem many flights were delayed on Friday while others were cancelled outright.
At Rome's Fiumicino airport, for example, 12 departing flights were cancelled, while around 20 others were delayed by between one and two hours.
Passengers have been told to check with their airlines about the status of their flights. (ANSA).
