By Zoila Palma: Today, the Government of Belize officially inaugurated the Digital Border Crossing Card introducing a new initiative that allows eligible Mexican nationals to travel anywhere in Belize for up to seven days.
The initiative highlights continued cooperation between Belize and Mexico, with the aim of strengthening cross-border tourism and generating long-term benefits for Belize’s tourism industry. The card is being introduced as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate travel between the two neighbouring countries.
The Digital Border Crossing Card carries no application fee, and official guidelines will be made available through the Belize Immigration Portal.
