Asia Kate Dillon, who starred in Billions and Orange is the New Black, is being forced to return to food service work after failing to book any new acting gigs.
The non-binary performer, 41, took to Instagram this week to publicly post their resume, along with a plea for employment in the service industry.
Dillon began by sharing how they started off as a dishwasher and food runner as a teenager, before eventually working their way up to becoming a floor manager at multiple restaurants in Brooklyn.
They became a full time actor and performer in 2015, 'working exclusively in theater, film and TV for the last eleven years.'
'Now, like for many, many performer colleagues of mine - particularly those of us who are trans/nonbinary/gender nonconforming - acting work has all but diminished, and I'm in need of service work once more,' Dillon wrote.
Dillon is best known for playing Taylor Mason in the Showtime drama Billions from season two through to the show's end in 2023.

The gender-nonconforming star also played Brandy Epps in seasons four and five of Netflix's Orange is the New Black, and had a role in John Wick: Chapter 3 as The Adjudicator.
They were last seen in the low budget independent film Outerlands, which ironically follows a non-binary gig economy worker juggling low-paying jobs to make ends meet in San Francisco.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Dillon for comment and has yet to hear back.
The Billions star isn't the only LGBTQIA+ performer to be out of a job in Hollywood.
Last month, transgender actor Jack Haven posted a desperate plea for acting work in order to keep their health insurance.
The 32-year-old actor, best known for starring in the acclaimed horror film I Saw the TV Glow and Netflix's Atypical, explained that they needed to earn $4,000 by the end of the month to qualify for health insurance through the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) for 2027.
Haven, who goes by they/them pronouns, uploaded a video to YouTube, titling their message: 'Are You Casting?'

Four days later, they posted another YouTube video with a follow-up message.
In the first video, Haven said they were 'in a bit of an emergency situation' and stated that they had just two weeks left to find work before their insurance was pulled.
'I guess what I'm asking is if you, or if anyone you know, can hire me on a set or production and pay me $4,000, I will do, pretty much, any job,' they begged.
'I can sing. I can dance. I can talk softly, loudly. I can do accents – British,' Haven added.
A few days later, they shared a follow-up video thanking people for job offers and addressing others criticizing them for not getting a 'real' job.
'I guess a lot of people saw the video where I asked for $4,000. I got a lot of offers, so thank you guys,' they said.

'And I totally understand why people are also responding to it with anger and frustration, telling me to get a real job,' Haven continued.
'Um, that wouldn't really help with healthcare right now, but, um, I don't have any skills.'
Haven was most recently seen in the acclaimed horror-comedy Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.
The film, which reunites Haven with I Saw the TV Glow writer and director Jane Schoenbrun, features Hacks star Hannah Einbinder as a rising filmmaker who's invited to reboot a long-dead horror franchise with unmistakable similarities to the Friday the 13th franchise.
But a meeting with the reclusive star of the horror films, played by X-Files icon Gillian Anderson, upends the director's life and leads to a sexual awakening, even as a mysterious mass killer threatens to intrude on real life.
