Kathmandu, Oct 25: Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Geeta Chaudhary, has said it is a milestone for Nepal to have its projects approved by the Adaptation Fund for the mitigation of climate-induced disaster and strengthening of adaptation capacity.

The 47th Board of Adaptation Fund had endorsed three projects which were proposed by Nepal government in a bid to strengthen capacity for better adaptation to climate change.

The implementing agency is the National Nature Conservation Trust (NNCT). The financial assistance proposed for the undertaking is 9.9 million US dollars.
