Brazil’s São Paulo consumer-protection agency, Procon-SP, has asked the BTS tour promoter Live Nation to explain how many video screens the band’s three stadium shows will have. Our BTS in São Paulo page tracks the run-up to the concerts.
The agency acted on 22 October after 518 complaints from fans. The company’s reply was due on Friday, 23 October, and the first show is on 28 October.

What Procon-SP Wants to Know
Procon-SP notified Live Nation Brasil Concerts Ltda. on Thursday, 22 October. It asked for the number, dimensions, technology and placement of the screens planned for the three São Paulo shows, plus a comparison with other countries.
The notice followed 518 consumer complaints recorded between January and 21 October. Of those, 460 concerned the structure of the show.
According to reports received by Procon-SP, tour legs in Asia, Europe and North America used 12 screens. The South American production, including São Paulo, is expected to use four central screens.
Live Nation said on 19 October that São Paulo would follow the same production format as the other South American dates. It said the announced dates, sectors and ticket map were unchanged.
That statement did not give the number or size of the screens. It also did not say whether the company had answered Procon-SP.
In Plain English
Procon-SP is the São Paulo state consumer-protection agency. It can ask companies for documents and answers.
Live Nation is the US concert promoter running the tour’s South American dates. MorumBIS is the large São Paulo football stadium hosting the three shows.
A Second Dispute Over Seat Maps
A separate inquiry is still open. On 20 October the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office gave the city government, Ticketmaster Brasil and Live Nation 48 hours to explain a mismatch between maps, as we reported.
A municipal plan showed “PIT 1” and “PIT 2” areas near the stage that were absent from the map shown to buyers. Live Nation says there will be no PIT sector at the São Paulo shows.
Show Times and Sales
BTS plays MorumBIS on Wednesday 28 October, Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October. Shows start at 8:00 p.m. in São Paulo (7:00 p.m. ET), and gates open at 4:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. ET).
All three nights are sold out. Reports say the run sold out in about an hour and a half, with more than 630,000 people in the online queues. For a wider plan of the month, see our São Paulo events guide for October.
What It Means for US Readers
US fans flying in for the shows should treat the screen question as open until Live Nation publishes details. Seats far from the stage depend most on video screens.
Procon-SP’s request is for information, and no penalty has been announced. Watch the week’s announcements before travelling.
What Is Not Known
It is not known whether Live Nation answered Procon-SP by Friday’s deadline, or what it said about the four-screen set-up. It is also unclear whether Procon-SP will require disclosure, changes or compensation.
The reason for the PIT markings in the city plan is not confirmed. Live Nation has not said whether any extra video equipment will be added at MorumBIS.
