For most Knicks fans, a championship means celebrating with a jersey, a hat or a parade. For one family, it meant naming their newborn son after the team's historic title run.
Meet Knickson Fyve Bradford.
The Bradford family was seven months into the pregnancy when the Knicks won the NBA championship. At the time, they didn't yet know whether they were having a boy or a girl.
Once they learned they were expecting a son, the decision came quickly.
Mom suggested the name Knickson, a tribute to the long-awaited championship. Two days later, the family settled on the middle name Fyve, inspired by the rallying cry "Knicks in Five."
And just like that, Knickson Fyve was born.
The family says the unique name is their way of commemorating a championship run they'll never forget, ensuring the Knicks' title season will remain part of their family history for years to come.
