Former Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, on Tuesday, arrived at the Kaduna State High Court in the company of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Isa Mohammed Ashiru, for the continuation of his corruption trial.
El-Rufai arrived at the court premises at about 11:50am ahead of the resumed hearing scheduled for noon.
Security was tight around the court premises as security personnel maintained a strong presence ahead of the proceedings.
The former governor is facing corruption and money laundering charges filed against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
Justice Darius Khobo had earlier ordered the ICPC to produce El-Rufai in court for the resumed hearing on Monday.
