Overview:
Ramayana: Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, is expected to stream on JioHotstar after completing its theatrical run.
The film is expected to offer pay-per-view access, meaning viewers may need to purchase it separately from subscriptions.
The theatrical release is scheduled for November 5, 2026, while the digital premiere date and pricing remain unconfirmed.
The excitement around Ramayana is building, and fans will not have to depend entirely on cinema halls to watch the much-awaited mythological epic.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana, the film is set to make its digital debut on JioHotstar after completing its theatrical run.
What makes the announcement interesting is the planned pay-per-view option, which will allow viewers to purchase access to the film separately rather than relying only on a regular OTT subscription.
The digital release is expected to give the film a wider audience, including people who prefer watching big-screen spectacles from the comfort of their homes.
Ramayana: Where Can You Watch the Film Online?
Ramayana: Part One will be out on JioHotstar following its run in theaters. The digital collaboration between JioHotstar and the producers, including Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios, took place on October 22, 2026.
This collaboration has been done with the intention to help reach more people than only those that are in cinemas. For those who could not attend the screening at the movies or prefer to watch it online, then there is a possibility for them.
So far, the creators have not revealed the actual day when Ramayana will be available on JioHotstar.

What is Pay-Per-View?
Unlike most films that eventually become available as part of an OTT subscription, Ramayana: Part One is expected to follow a pay-per-view model. This means viewers will need to pay separately to watch the film online, even if they already subscribe to JioHotstar.
Simply stated, even the subscription plan might not be sufficient for viewing the movie. The users will need to buy the movie on their own, and the pricing and other details will only be revealed later.
This method may be favored by those enthusiasts who are eager to watch the movie from the comfort of their homes without having to wait until it becomes part of the subscription package of the service provider.
