Tottenham finally secured their first league win of the season on Monday as they edged out a plucky Coventry.
James Maddison, starting for the first time since April 2025, opened the scoring with a fine curled effort before Omar Marmoush and Ben Davies sealed the result in the second half, cancelling out Jack Rudoni’s equaliser.
The result came at a cost, though, as Marmoush, Andy Robertson and Tosin Adarabioyo were all forced off with injuries.
There was levity, however, when Dejan Kulusevski came off the bench to make his first competitive appearance of any sort since May 2025.
