Imranur Rahman of Bangladesh Navy won the 200metre sprint of Arafat Rahman Koko 18th National Summer Athletics Competition at the National Stadium in Dhaka on the concluding day (Sunday).
He took 21.18 seconds to bag the 200m title for man. Shanto Karmaker of Bangladesh Army became second in the same event clocking 21.63 seconds, while Rakibul Hasan of Bangladesh Navy finished third taking 21.77 seconds.
Shirin Akter of Bangladesh Navy clinched the 200metre sprint title clocking 24.35 seconds, while Shorifa Khatun of Bangladesh Army became second in the same event taking 25.11 seconds and Borsha Khatun of Bangladesh Army finished third clocking 25.33 seconds.
Md Shuhanur Rahman of Bangladesh Army bagged the gold medal in the 10000metre race taking 33 minutes and 12.40 seconds.
Elahi Sardar of Bangladesh Navy became second in that event clocking 33 minutes and 43.30 seconds. Sohel Rana of Bangladesh Army finished third in that event after taking 33 minutes and 48.50 seconds.
Mosharrof Hossain of Bangladesh Army won the gold medal in the 800 metre sprint clocking one minute and 53.53 seconds.
Rakibul Islam of Bangladesh Army clinched silver medal taking one minute and 54.95 seconds, while Md Sami Islam Suny of BKSP bagged bronze medal in that event taking one minute and 56.74 seconds.
