The Math Behind the $210 XRP Price Target

Using approximately 63.13 billion circulating XRP, multiplying the supply by a $210 price produces a value of about $13.26 trillion. A trader is turning a viral year-end call into a valuation claim on a scale rarely seen in any asset. With XRP trading under $1.35, the arithmetic-not Ripple’s expanding business alone-is the test the prediction has to pass.

Crypto Captain posted that XRP would reach $210 before the end of 2026. The claim drew pushback from XRP supporters, while the token was trading around $1.31, down from approximately $1.50 on October 6, a decline of roughly 13%.

The basic calculation is price multiplied by token supply. Using approximately 63.13 billion circulating XRP, $210 produces an implied XRP market cap of about $13.26 trillion; applying the same price to the full 100 billion maximum supply yields a fully diluted valuation of $21 trillion.

At roughly $1.31, the circulating-supply calculation implies a market value near $82.9 billion. Reaching $210 would require the token price to rise about 160-fold from that level, or 15,900%; this is not a routine extension of a bullish chart target but a claim that XRP would command a multi-trillion-dollar valuation.

Market capitalization is the circulating token count multiplied by the proposed price, not a forecast of how much capital would need to flow into XRP. But a target of that scale still requires a credible account of why buyers would value the outstanding supply at $210 per token.

Ripple’s Expansion Is Not XRP Demand

The prediction arrived amid five Ripple-related institutional developments announced between October 6 and October 15. They covered brokerage, custody, tokenization, stablecoin settlement, and derivatives access-business lines that broaden Ripple’s institutional footprint.

Ripple Prime announced brokerage, clearing, and financing services for funds managed by Brevan Howard, an investment group with approximately $35 billion under management. But that figure describes the group’s assets, not capital committed to XRP.

Standard Chartered launched institutional custody for RLUSD issued on the XRP Ledger, while DriveWealth announced plans to integrate RLUSD on the ledger for settlement in Europe before a planned U.S. expansion. Meritz Securities partnered with Ripple to explore custody and tokenization, and Ripple Prime also launched institutional access to perpetual swaps across more than 100 reference markets.

Those developments matter to Ripple’s commercial reach, but their connection to XRP varies. Custody and planned settlement focused on RLUSD, while brokerage and financing arrangements do not establish how much XRP institutions need to hold or trade.

Even activity on the XRP Ledger does not translate one-for-one into XRP buying. The report cites a standard transaction fee of 0.00001 XRP, a small amount that means greater stablecoin use can generate ledger activity without requiring institutions to accumulate a comparable value of the native token.

Will XRP Price Benefit?

The central investment question is whether Ripple’s business growth creates sustained demand for XRP itself. That depends on the role the token plays in institutional activity, not simply the number of partnerships or services associated with Ripple.

RLUSD custody gives institutions a way to hold Ripple’s stablecoin, and the stablecoin may also serve as collateral in institutional trading. These uses can expand Ripple’s financial infrastructure while leaving clients without a need to hold significant XRP balances.

A more direct demand channel would emerge if institutions used XRP to transfer value between currencies or provide trading liquidity. The scale of that activity-and the XRP balances participants retain to support it-would matter more to token valuation than the headline count of Ripple announcements.

The $210 call is a social-media assertion, while its implied valuation is clear: approximately $13.26 trillion on circulating supply and $21 trillion on the maximum supply. Those figures put the burden on the prediction to explain the demand and value capture that could support such a price.
