Anyaegbudike made the call on Wednesday at the council secretariat in Oji River after the swearing-in and the election of the principal officers of the 10th legislative council of the local government.
According to him, “I extend our administration’s hand of fellowship to the new House leaders and all the councillors.
“On behalf of the people of Oji River Local Government Area, I extend my warm congratulations to the leader of the house, Hon. Mrs. Cynthia Obika and all principal officers on their emergence.
“I equally commend the rest of the newly sworn in legislators for their orderly conduct and remarkable unity.
“This remarkable unity made it possible for a peaceful and rancour-free election of the house’s principal officers,” he declared.
Earlier, Anyaegbudike, in the exercise of his power as the Chairman of the council, issued a proclamation for the holding of the first session of the 10th legislative council.
