Following an idle week, UConn will host UMass under the Friday night lights in one of college football's oldest rivalries.
The Huskies last played two weeks ago when they earned a dominant 34-20 win over Temple. The Huskies had their best rushing performance of the season, totaling 248 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
UMass has lost its last three games after starting the season 4-0. The Minutemen were without star quarterback Pop Watson for the last two games as he dealt with an ankle injury but the Springfield, Massachusetts, native is expected to be under center on Friday night vs UConn.
