A head-turning statistic surrounding the creative exploits of Barcelona star Pau Cubarsí across the season to date has come to the fore online.
This comes after the young defender bagged his latest assist on Saturday evening. En route to Barcelona’s La Liga victory over Real Betis, the 19-year-old laid on Eric García during the 2nd-half courtesy of a brave header.
Cubarsí, in the process, took his tally for the La Liga season to a pair of La Liga assists.
And as since revealed by ‘StatMuse’ on ‘X’, this is one more assist than has been managed by big-money Real Madrid attacker Yan Diomandé since taking his talents to Spain’s capital over the summer.
Diomandé will for his part be hopeful of turning this situation on its head on Sunday, when Real Madrid set about making it a trio of successive victories since the international break in a La Liga meeting with Sevilla.
