Early voting is underway in Texas, and on Day Three, things don't seem to be looking good for James Talarico. Once again, the Left insisted that they were finally going to turn Texas blue, and it doesn't seem that will happen this time around. Even Vote Hub, who inexplicably still has the race as "tilt D", said day three was redder than the previous two.
Here's how else we know that Talarico is in trouble: the same day as the Vote Hub posted that, NBC News swooped in to warn that "disinformation researchers" (that's a thing?) were seeing Russian operatives meddling in the race. I'm sure the timing is just a coincidence, no?

Here's more:
Russian operatives are most likely trying to meddle in the Senate race in Texas in the most prominent example yet of a foreign effort to mislead voters ahead of the midterm elections, three teams of disinformation researchers said Wednesday.
The assessments came from Alethea and Graphika, two companies that specialize in tracking influence operations, and from Clemson University’s Media Forensics Hub, which does similar work.
All three teams said they were investigating the origins and spread of two videos on X that they said were likely deepfakes made with artificial intelligence. The videos were posted Tuesday — a day after early voting started in Texas — and targeted Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico.
Simply incredible how this is treated as hard news and the double standard that comes with "election denialism." The entire concept started with Democrats in 2000, when George W. Bush beat Al Gore. The Supreme Court had to step in to end the recounts in Florida and Bush won the state, and the Democrats never really got over that defeat.
Fast forward to 2016, when Donald Trump saved this nation from a Hillary Clinton presidency, and the election denialism was suddenly back, this time on steroids. She couldn't fathom that she lost, and I'm convinced that — much like Charles Foster Kane's "Rosebud" — her last word on her deathbed will be "Russia."

NBC News had no problem elevating Clinton's election denialism post-2016. In November 2022, they ran an article noting that Clinton said "[Trump] knows he's an illegitimate president" and the election "was not on the level." She also claimed Russia helped "weaponize leaked information" against her campaign, was "convinced" Trump associates colluded with Russia, blamed her loss on Putin-led Russian hacking.
Compare that to how they treated Trump following the 2020 election, where they wrote about Trump telling "one falsehood after another," Attorney General William Barr saying there was no evidence of "widespread voter fraud" (seems like widespread is the key word there), the insufferable Liz Cheney "hitting back" at Trump over the "big lie," and my personal favorite: Trump refuses to acknowledge his 2020 loss.
There was no doubt that Hillary Clinton lost in 2016. Russian collusion was a proven lie. But a decade later she still won't admit she lost. 2020, on the other hand, raised a lot of questions. The reality is we know Joe Biden got more votes, but we will never know how many of those votes were legitimate (my guess is many weren't).
SPOILER ALERT: If Talarico loses, the media will blame it on Russia. They haven't learned a thing since 2016. https://t.co/2p8TgL0edY

I'm not going to rehash 2020, though. I'm going to point out – yet again – the blatant hypocrisy of NBC News. When Democrats lose fair and square, they're the victims of misinformation, Russian collusion, election interference. They even jailed a guy for a meme, accusing him of interfering with the election. They can spend years questioning it, and no one will ask Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat to state who won the 2016 election. That question, asked about 2020, remains a litmus test for many Republican candidates, however, and even here in Wisconsin, Democrats have tried to accuse Tom Tiffany of "election denialism."
But with the Democrats, every accusation is a confession, and it's clear NBC News is laying the groundwork for another round of election denialism and "Russian collusion" when James Talarico fails to go to the Senate.
