The Sunday, 25 October episode of Carte Blanche investigates allegations surrounding a school construction project in which millions of rands were reportedly paid for work that was allegedly never completed.
The investigation examines a politically connected contractor, progress reports that appear inconsistent with the work visible on the ground today, and questions over how public funds were spent.
Meanwhile, children continue to wait for the school they were promised, as concerns grow over the project’s delays and accountability for the money paid out.
