Taylor Swift is no stranger to fans trying to snap photos and capture video whenever she steps out in public, especially with Travis Kelce.
That's part of life when you're one of the biggest stars on the planet, but even she can find herself in an awkward spot when the cameras come out.
Sometimes, the attention gets a little too intense, and a seemingly ordinary moment suddenly becomes uncomfortable. Swift experienced one of those situations while attending the Kansas City Chiefs' game over the weekend.
It's a reminder that even a superstar who's used to the spotlight can have moments when the attention feels like a bit too much.
Taylor Swift Appears to Tell Chiefs Fan Not to Film Her During Game
During Sunday's game between the Chiefs and winless Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift appeared to tell a Chiefs fan not to videotape or take a photo of her.
A video of the incident wound up on TikTok, showing the fan facing the suite while Swift looked toward the field.
The situation took an awkward turn when the fan lifted her phone and appeared ready to record Swift, as captured in the clip.
As the New York Post reports, the singer appeared to turn toward the woman and seemed to signal that she'd rather not be filmed, gesturing and then pointing toward the football field. It was a brief exchange, but the body language suggested Swift was trying to direct the fan's attention away from her and back to the action on the field.
Even for someone who's spent years living under a microscope, having a camera pointed at her during a personal moment can obviously make things, well, uncomfortable.
Man Near Taylor Swift Appears to Intervene in the Interaction
A man wearing a green shirt also stood near Swift's suite, between the singer and the fan. He appeared to try to prevent the interaction from escalating, and some fans online have speculated that he was part of Swift's security team, although that hasn't been confirmed.
Before the fan raised her phone, she appeared to speak with the man, who motioned for her not to do it. After Swift turned toward the fan, the man appeared to guide her away from the suite window.
Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium to watch her husband in action against the Chargers, and she watched the game with Caitlin Clark and Este Haim. The Chiefs went on to win the game with a 22-6 final score.
