Oct. 19—COLUMBIA — South Carolina will kick off against Oklahoma at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 31 in Norman, Okla. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
It will be the third game in the series with a split over the first two. The Gamecocks won the first in 2024, 35-9 in Norman. The Sooners returned the favor last year in Columbia, winning 26-7.
USC (3-3, 1-3 SEC) was on a bye week last week and hosts No. 11 Tennessee this week. Oklahoma (3-3, 1-2) fell to Kentucky last week and is at Mississippi State this week.
It will be another return to familiar grounds for USC coach Shane Beamer, who served at Oklahoma from 2018-20 before accepting his first head coaching job with the Gamecocks. It's also a familiar opponent, as Oklahoma coach Brent Venables was a Clemson assistant from 2012-21.
