The letter calls on the British government to reverse its “draconian” decision to designate Palestine Action as a terrorist organization and ban it. The call comes after the announcement that sales of Irish author Sally Rooney’s books will be halted in the UK because she donated part of the proceeds to the organization.
"Sally Rooney is a writer, not a terrorist. Her books must be available to the public," says the letter, which was also signed by actors including Tilda Swinton and Paul Mescal.
