Where do you know the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 cast from?
With so many stars, from motion capture veterans to voice acting newbies, let’s dive right in to where you might recognise these names from.
Young Mazino – Private Park Hyun Jun
Young Mazino takes centre stage as one of the two main protagonists, Private Park Hyun-Jun, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. His rise to fame came from his breakout role in the Netflix series Beef, but Mazino has also had roles in HBO’s The Last of Us and in the film Opus.
A retired League of Legends and Valorant player who had to delete his Riot account to curb his addiction (as admitted in an interview with IGN), this is Mazino’s first role in a major video game where he provides the voice and motion capture for Private Park Hyun-Jun.
Barry Sloane – Captain John Price
Playing our second main protagonist is Barry Sloane, who is reprising his role as Captain John Price. Sloane has been the voice and full performance motion capture actor for Captain John Price in all rebooted Call of Duty titles.
In 2020, Sloane received a BAFTA Games Award in the performer in a leading role category for his work as Price in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. He has also been in numerous TV shows and BAFTA award-winning films such as Pleasureland and The Mark of Cain.
Samuel Roukin – Simon "Ghost" Riley
Samuel Roukin will be reprising the role of one of the most infamous Call of Duty characters, Simon "Ghost" Riley. Roukin previously voiced Ghost in CoD: Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III, and he is returning one last time for the final instalment of the series.
Roukin also has an extensive film and TV portfolio, best known for his role as John Graves Simcoe in the series Turn: Washington’s Spies.
Mads Mikkelsen – The Archer
Playing the main antagonist of the game is Mads Mikkelsen, who is voicing The Archer. Little is known about The Archer, but Mikkelsen is notorious for playing villainous characters. His work spans films like Casino Royale, where he plays James Bond’s nemesis Le Chiffre, to the TV series Hannibal, where Mikkelsen stars as Hannibal Lecter.
But this is not Mikkelsen’s first time performing for a video game – he reprised his role as Le Chiffre in Hitman: World of Assassination and starred as Clifford Unger in Death Stranding.
Maria Elisa Camargo – Valeria Garza
Making her return to the Call of Duty universe is Maria Elisa Camargo as Valeria Garza, the leader of the Las Almas cartel. As an Ecuadorian actress, Camargo is best known for her work in Latin America telenovelas and first started her career as a contestant on The X Factor Colombia. Her role in the Call of Duty franchise is her first credit in a major video game.
Joseph Lee – Kwon "Kal" Hae-Soo
Debuting for the first time in the Call of Duty series is Joseph Lee as Kwon "Kal" Hae-Soo. Just like Young Mazino, Lee is a fellow member of the Netflix Beef cast, which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the category outstanding supporting actor.
This is Lee’s first major role in a video game, and with his TV and film background it’ll be interesting to see where he takes the role!
Rya Kihlstedt – Kate Laswell
Taking on the mantle of the CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell is Rya Kihlstedt, who is returning to the role for this final instalment. Outside of video games, Kihlstedt is best known for starring in Home Alone 3 as Alice Ribbons and in the TV series Dexter, where she plays Dr Michelle Ross.
Elliot Knight – Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
Finally, reprising his role as Kyle "Gaz" Garrick is Elliot Knight, who is no stranger to the gaming scene. Knight has made a name for himself in games such as Marathon, which came out earlier this year, as the character Triage.
Knight has also had an extensive career in film and TV, where he is best known for portraying Colin in the superhero series The Boys and for playing Keyonte Bell in the show Countdown.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is launching on 23 October 2026 across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
