The couple exchanged vows at La Paris Estate in the Cape Winelands on Saturday, 10 October 2026, with family, close friends and several well-known South Africans present to witness the celebration.
Vasti's ceremony gown
For the ceremony, Vasti chose a custom creation by South African bridal designer Anel Botha. The gown featured a dramatic train that suited the lush, picturesque surroundings of the wine estate perfectly. Dricus complemented his bride in a classic black tuxedo.
Anel Botha has built a reputation for bespoke bridal and evening wear, crafting made-to-measure gowns for special occasions.

A dazzling reception look
When the festivities moved into the reception, Vasti made her second entrance in a completely different style. The new dress, designed by Amara Bespoke, featured a combination of pearls and sequins that gave her evening look a glamorous, celebratory edge.
She accessorised with a white feather boa, adding a playful touch to the ensemble. Dricus also changed for the reception, stepping out in a cream blazer that paired beautifully with Vasti's updated look. The coordinated cream-and-white palette the couple wore felt right at home against the reception's décor, which included deep red draping, floral arrangements and crystal chandeliers.

The two bridal looks offered distinct energy for each part of the day: the ceremony gown was elegant and classic, while the reception dress leaned into something more festive and fashion-forward. Together, they gave the wedding an added layer of style that went beyond the expected.
The wedding marks the culmination of a nearly two-year engagement, after Dricus proposed to Vasti in January 2025.
