By Zoila Palma: Today, Dunamis Ministries in San Ignacio, Cayo issued a statement following allegations against a well-known Pastor.
“The leadership of Dunamis Ministries is aware of the criminal proceedings involving the founder of our Church and acknowledges the concerns expressed by members and the public.
We wish to make it clear that the Church does not intend to prejudge the matter or express any opinion concerning the guilt or innocence of the individual charged. These are questions to be determined exclusively by the Court upon consideration of the evidence presented,” the church said.
In addition, the church said that it recognizes the seriousness of the allegations and remains committed to the principles of accountability, fairness, integrity, and respect for the rule of law.
The church says that it plans to take appropriate administrative measures as may be necessary to ensure the uninterrupted operation of its services, the spiritual welfare of its congregation, and the protection of all persons within its ministry.
“We assure our members that the Church’s mission and responsibilities extend beyond any single individual and that its leadership remains committed to providing stability, guidance, and responsible stewardship during this period.
We respectfully request that the privacy and dignity of all persons concerned be respected while the legal process takes its course,” the church added.
