Julian Ward, your no.1 priority is abundantly clear. There's a Liverpool deal to be done with one outstanding Argentine.
Julian Ward has inherited quite a lot of work with this Liverpool squad. It's not one that's been built particularly well - just about every area of it requires some sort of balancing.
Centre-back? Well, only Giovanni Leoni and Jeremy Jacquet are contracted beyond this season and one of them hasn't played foot ball in 13 months. Both are under 23.
Right-back? Jeremie Frimpong looks unable to play there and Conor Bradley has been out injured since January.
Right-wing? There aren't any. Left-wing? There are four, all of whom expect to play regularly for Liverpool.
Then there's the midfield. It's an area neglected by Liverpool last summer even though we expected them to make moves. Instead, they sold Curtis Jones and didn't replace him.
Now the Reds are in a situation where deals must be done and priority no.1 looks absolutely crystal clear.
Alexis Mac Allister must get a new contract
Alexis Mac Allister made waves earlier this season when he went public about his contract situation. The Argentine witnessed both Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch get big-money, long-term deals while he was told the club wasn't in a position to offer him one.
How things have changed. Mac Allister is quite unequivocally Liverpool's best midfielder right now and the one Andoni Iraola depends on the most. Be it as the most advanced or the deepest, Mac Allister has been called on and shone brightly.
It's turned the entire situation on its head and no one, surely, could deny that the midfielder is deserving - fully - of a new deal. In fact, Liverpool would look significantly weaker if they let him go as was the plan in the summer.
Yes, even with the enormous £580k-per-week double deal for Szoboszlai and Gravenberch, Mac Allister should be prioritised by Ward to be locked down. Even ahead of someone like Virgil van Dijk, whose age makes a deal far more complicated.
But there isn't anything complicated about Mac Allister. and a cornerstone of this team. Getting him signed to a new contract is a no-brainer.
